<p style="font-weight: 400;">As a resident of Erewash, I am contacting you about the Council’s plans to sell part of Pewit golf course for housing.</p> <p style="font-weight: 400;">I strongly oppose this plan and think its imposition would be undemocratic. A public consultation found residents were overwhelmingly in favour of the original plans drawn up by ecologists, so this would directly ignore our voice.</p> <p style="font-weight: 400;">Accessing nature is important for wellbeing and mental health, and I do not believe more should be taken away.</p> <p style="font-weight: 400;">We urge the Council to revoke this decision and look at alternative options.</p>
